the other morning i was thrilled to be invited to a ‘healthy skin + healthy life’ brunch at lucky penny in south yarra to celebrate the launch of ‘renu 28’ in australia. renu 28 is a revitalising gel, suitable for men and women and is scientifically designed to encourage your skin’s natural renewal process through the redox signalling molecules it contains. i have a pretty fuss-free ‘beauty regime’ (let’s be honest… as a foodie, getting to my next meal is faaaar more important!). but having used this for a couple of weeks now, my skin feels more hydrated and looks smoother. win!
most encouraging for me is that it is chemical free! i recently discovered that i have a severe allergy to methylisothiazolinone – a preservative used in a lot of household cleaning and cosmetic products (sadly including aesop which i used to love).
it was a great morning, with presentations about beauty and health from ingrid seaburn – a former la-based skincare therapist who worked for a number of hollywood celebrities; and tom davidson – a former collingwood football player turned passionate paleo advocate, personal trainer and also owner of patch café in richmond (which i love).
we were treated to a beautiful and healthy buffet spread by lucky penny – chia seed puddings, fruit salad, muffins, healthy protein balls and delicious fresh juices. overall it was a fun morning and i feel privileged to have been invited as i left inspired to get moving a little more and look after my skin a little better!
thanks hrpr for having me! for more information, check out aseaglobal.
This looked like so much fun – what a great idea and a beautiful set up!
